Haljas was founded by a small team of Estonian engineers and designers with a shared frustration: why are saunas either purely traditional or blandly modern? We wanted more — something that respected ritual, but felt like sculpture. What began as a sketch turned into an award-winning design now shipped around the world. Our workshop

We build every sauna at our workshop in Estonia, where cold winters and dark skies have long shaped our relationship to heat, light, and space. Our team blends traditional Nordic know-how with modern methods, ensuring each unit meets the highest standards of structural and thermal performance.
